There’s always a quiet pause after a piece leaves.

Sunset Garden Reimagined found a new home.
This canvas print was reimagined from my original artwork, Sunset Garden one of my very first online purchases as an artist. Because of that, it will always hold a special place in my heart..
And as much as there is gratitude deep, grounding gratitude there’s also that familiar, bittersweet tug. A kind of stillness that settles in the space it once occupied. Artists don’t often talk about this part, but every piece carries time, thought, and fragments of who we were when we created it. Letting it go is never just transactional. It’s personal.
Sunset Garden Reimagined was never just about form or composition. It was a conversation between structure and emotion, between what is seen and what is understood. It held questions. It held pauses. It held moments that didn’t need to be loud to exist fully.
And now, it will live somewhere else.
That’s the strange beauty of creating. We make something deeply ours, only to release it into someone else’s world. It becomes part of their space, their rhythm, their story. And in that exchange, something meaningful happens something we can’t fully control, but always hope for.
Because that’s why we do this.
Not just to make.
But to spark.
To create something that lingers in someone’s mind a little longer than expected. To offer a feeling they didn’t know they needed. To place a quiet thought into a busy life. Art doesn’t always shout it often whispers. And when it finds the right person, that whisper becomes enough.
There’s comfort in knowing that Sunset Reimagined will continue its journey beyond me. That it might be seen in different light, at different times of day, through different moods. That someone, somewhere, will stand in front of it and feel something shift even if they can’t quite explain what.
That’s the story continuing.

And as for me, I return to the empty space it leaves behind not as a loss, but as an opening. A space for the next idea, the next question, the next piece waiting to be brought into form.
Because this is the rhythm of it all:
Create. Hold. Release. Begin again.
If you’d like one for your own space, email me each piece can be customised in size, with only a limited number of prints available.
Alhamdulilah 🫶
