Geometric Plywood · Modular AbstractPlywood is the primary material in Reena M’s current practice. Through geometry, modular construction, layered paint and physical intervention, these works explore structure, balance, tension and the ways an artwork can occupy space.

Individual Works · REKA Design Week 2026Selected works exhibited at REKA Design Week 2026, organised by the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID). Antara Ruang, Ruang Bersilang, and Between Pattern and Form (diptych) were presented as part of the exhibition. The diptych comprises two panels that can also stand independently.

Batik Reassembled
8 artworks originally created on 100% cotton paper, revisited and reimagined through a contemporary exploration of Malaysian batik and visual language. Selected works are also available as Open and Limited Edition Prints.
Terrain of Feeling is a collection of abstract geometric landscapes and botanicals shaped by the colours , textures and rhythms of Malaysian nature. Each work translates a landscape or emotional state into layered forms, fractured geometry and organic movement. Rather than depicting nature literally, Reena M uses it as a starting point to explore memory atmosphere and feeling. Creating imagined terrains that are both familiar and open to interpretation.
Began as a series of works on paper inspired by the intricate rhythms of traditional batik.
Reena M reinterprets these visual influences through abstraction, colour, line and layered form.
Rooted In Malaysian / Indonesian batik yet intentionally removed from literal representation the collection explores how familiar patterns can transform into something new.

A body of private works exploring modern Islamic geometry through abstract landscapes and botanical forms.
Rooted in discipline, repetition and balance of Islamic geometric design these works move beyond traditional pattern to create imagined landscapes, organic structures and quiet botanical forms. Geometry becomes a framework for exploring rhythm, space and movement while nature introduces softness, irregularity and growth.

Twelve Chapters in MotionBetween the Lines — Twelve Chapters in Motion
A published body of twelve paintings, presented as a coffee-table art book and painting series.
Between the Lines – Twelve Chapters in Motion is a visual and poetic journey through twelve chapters of emotion, reflection, movement and change.
Through art and words, the book explores the quiet spaces between what we experience, what we feel and what remains unsaid.
Created initially for her children the book holds thoughts, emotions and choices she made along the way. While deeply personal the twelve chapters leave space for every reader to find their own meaning within them.

Each record can include artwork ID, title, year, medium, dimensions, exhibition history, publication history, ownership history and Certificate of Authenticity details.
