Your Walls, Your Rules: Introducing Diamond Lush
Art has always lived on walls but I’ve been increasingly interested in what happens after the artwork is hung.
This new design is part of my Diamond Lush series, an evolution that takes its cue from Art Beyond Canvas. It’s a continuation of my exploration into geometry, movement, and the quiet dialogue between structure and freedom.
What makes this series different is simple:
the artwork doesn’t stop at installation.
Four Panels. Endless Possibilities.
Each design consists of four individual panels, created to work together but never fixed in one arrangement. They can be rotated, swapped, and reconfigured.
Today it might feel balanced.
Tomorrow, angular.
Another day, introspective or bold.

The viewer becomes a participant. By rearranging the panels according to mood, space, or instinct, the artwork shifts visually and emotionally. The composition evolves with you.
Designed for Interaction, Not Perfection
We’re used to art being static locked into a single “correct” orientation. Diamond Lush intentionally breaks that expectation.
There is no right or wrong way to hang these panels.
No final version.
No hierarchy.
Each reconfiguration creates new lines, new tensions, new harmonies. The geometry responds to its environment, much like we do.
This is art that lives, not art that freezes time.
From Art Beyond Canvas to Diamond Lush
While Art Beyond Canvas questioned the limits of surface and material, Diamond Lush expands that inquiry into participation.
The diamond-like forms reflect facets of perception:
- structure and spontaneity
- control and surrender
- intention and intuition
The use of plywood, layered colour, and precise geometry grounds the work, while the modular nature invites play, curiosity, and ownership.
Looking Ahead: Sets of Four
This is the first few designs, each created as a four-panel set. Together, they will form a broader modular language individual works that can stand alone or converse with one another across a space.
Ultimately, I’m working towards a modular panel system that allow collectors, designers, and viewers to build visual narratives that feel personal, fluid, and alive.
An Invitation
Diamond Lush isn’t just something you look at.
It’s something you live with.
You rearrange it.
You respond to it.
You make it yours.
Because art, like life, doesn’t need to stay still to be complete.
Still In Motion
